Hey guys! Personally, I always love to see how everyone found TESD, when they discovered The Anthill and how long they have been listening. Feel free to share here!

I had known about Kevin Smith through Jay and Silent Bob, of course, but he came onto my radar again when the Too Fat to Fly thing happened in 2010. I listened to the SModcast (which I didn't know existed), and then started from #1. I binged them all in about a week, but especially loved the Walt and Bry episodes. It was right then, coincidentally, that TESD started. Jumped in immediately and have been here ever since. If ever there was a testament to the idea that things come into your life right when you need them....this is it.

Holy shitballs man, this is incredible! I’m Kim, obviously. @kimberlyfritz on the tweet machine. My friend Felicia told me about the pod, so we started listening around the same time and then I just couldn’t stop. I did nothing but binge it until I was all caught up.

I've been listening to tesd since about episode 100, though I've gone on a few catalogue runs since that point. I can't recall what brought me in but I've been a weekly listener since then. Found out about the anthill from stalking smodfans Twitter. I'm looking forward to seeing this develop, and feverishly hoping this doesn't turn into tesdcares.

There's nothing out there quite like that first TESD binge! It's so damn addictive haha, and you get that overwhelming "How have I gone my whole life without this?!?"

You found out about the anthill from me? That's awesome man! I love the anthill so much I am always looking for ways to help it! That being said, you NEVER have to worry about this turning into tesdcares haha, I would nuke the whole thing before I let that happen.

I had a laptop and got an iPod, and able to wear headphones all day at work... quickly found Smodcast, and listened since the beginning of smod.. Always loved the episodes with Bry and Walt, was addicted to those two from the first laugh.. As soon as I heard about TESD starting I started listening.. I have re listened to the library of both Smod and TESD more times than I can remember.. Thank you SmodFan for making this sweet place for us all to hang!!

I just started listening to the guys on January. The first episode I ever heard was the one where Walt goes to the tilted kilt, and I loved Walt's laugh, and everything he said... But since I couldn't really get the inside jokes and all I decided to start listening from episode 1, and right now I'm on episode 306. Honestly I discovered the guys through IJ, which I only discovered on November of last year (I don't really watch TV, don't judge , and I live in Mexico so we are a bit late on trends here anyways...) Love the guys and everything TESD since then... And that's pretty much my origin story glad to meet you all!

The show is so much more fulfilling once you've done that catalog listen too, they are the masters of callback jokes haha.

And I've actually managed to squeeze in all the bonus episodes like the zune overkill ones and cryptozoic man, etc... Almost literally the only thing I do all day long (needless to say I'm super productive)

Great idea for this Smodfan. I’ve been around since the beginning from listening to Smodcast. I had never listened to a podcast before Smod but after I heard one, I was on the search for more. Now I rarely listen to any podcasts but Tesd and nothing on a regular basis. I make my way chronologically thru the catalog while waiting for new content.

I started listening to Smodcast in 2010.. finally gave in and listened to TESD after hearing Bry & Walt (and TESD) mentioned a bunch. That was probably 2012? I know CBM premiered shortly after. It took me way too long to become a regular listener..but I’ve been hooked for a few years. I’ve since listened to the entire catalog a few times over, and it never gets old! .

Stumbled across TESD in late 2012, FlanPig was one of my first episodes.

Man I was a hardcore Smodcast listener going into college like a decade ago.... so I've been on board since the start of SIR when it was actually going to be a live internet radio station.
I've fallen off KS' podcasts since he released Red State, but TESD has remained a consistent beacon for me.
